The Itsy Bitsy Spider
Sing The Itsy Bitsy Spider with yourchild. Do the hand motions. Talk about how spiders spin webs.
The itsy bitsy spider
Went up the water spout
('Climb' up arm)
Down came the rain
(Wiggle fingers down from head to waist)
And washed the spider out
(Throw arms to sides)
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
(Raise hands above head, make circle for sun)
And the itsy bitsy spider
Went up the spout again.
Each day Idaho residents can view one free TumbleBook picture book, one free TumbleBook math book, one free TumbleBook game, and one free TumbleBook in Spanish on this site. Be sure to also check out the Fun Facts to help your child be ready for kindergarten!
What Do You Suppose?
What do you suppose?
a bee sat on my nose!
(Put finger on nose)
Then what do you think?
He gave me a wink
(Wink)
And said “I beg your pardon,
I thought you were a garden!”
(Open your hands in apology)
- Spider Climbing Waterspout Craft - You can make this spider and then act out The Itsy Bitsy Spider or Little Miss Muffet.
